Who are The Kitchen Works?
We’re the North East’s largest kitchen manufacturer, based at Team Valley in Gateshead. For over 25 years we’ve manufactured rigid-built kitchens, made-to-measure bedrooms and bathroom furniture, supplying kitchen fitters, builders, showrooms and studios at trade prices.
Do you only supply the trade, or can the public buy too?
We’re first and foremost a trade kitchen supplier, working with fitters, builders, showrooms and studios. But members of the public can also buy direct from the manufacturer at unbeatable prices, whether that’s units only or a complete kitchen with appliances.
Where do you deliver?
Everywhere in the UK, direct from our Gateshead factory. Our core delivery area runs from Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee in the north to Liverpool, Sheffield and Hull in the south, with regular deliveries across the North East including Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham.
What is unbranded white-label delivery?
Our vans are unbranded, so we can deliver directly to your customers on your behalf. Your clients see your business, not ours. We act as an invisible manufacturing partner behind kitchen fitters, showrooms and studios across the UK.
Do you offer a free kitchen design service?
Yes. Every trade customer gets a complimentary kitchen design and quotation service, including 3D CAD designs, wall elevations and a detailed floor plan. We can also work directly with your clients through our North East showrooms using 3D visualisation software.
What products do you manufacture and supply?
We manufacture rigid-built kitchen units, made-to-measure bedroom furniture and bathroom furniture. We also supply worktops in laminate, ceramic, wood, granite and quartz, plus appliances, sinks, taps, handles, hinges and accessories, so you can source a complete project from one place.
What is the price challenge?
Bring us an existing quote and we’ll aim to beat it on a like-for-like specification. We never compromise on quality, but we’ll always look to beat a comparable quote on price.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. We offer factory and showroom tours at our Team Valley site in Gateshead, where you can meet the team and see the fully computerised manufacturing process behind our kitchens and bedrooms.

What makes your units different?
Our units are rigid built, not flat packed. A fully computerised screen to machine process delivers precise cuts, edging and drilling, combined with traditional craftsmanship and materials from trusted local suppliers.
